Lord Mayor Volunteers Thank you

Having volunteered with the library last summer and probably again this summer I was invited to the Lord Mayor’s thank you drinks and food celebration in The Box. It was very nice to meet volunteers from other parts of the city in different areas of expertise.

The Lord Mayor read a speech and then went off piste telling us about her time in north prospect when she had set up a volunteer group. She is over ninety and is still full of energy and zest for life!
