Any port in a storm

A busy day again in the port and houses around town, lovely lovely clients. Scooby stayed at home with Ben for company. It’s too hot for dogs.

Pudding was wrangled and taken up to Tisha’s for book club. Wonderful company and food as ever. My book choice this time, a mixed set of reviews for Dinner in Rome. I’m defending it still. But that’s the beauty of a club like ours, we read things we might not otherwise.

This is a little pot I made and was pleased with but then painted in haste, so it was a bit disappointing. However, it’s doing its job saving the broken stemmed carnation and cheering the middle of the table.
