York
We couldn’t travel back across the country without giving Barbara a look at York, a grand city full of history. The minster is looking glorious with its stonework all cleaned up, and it struck 12 for us as we walked past! It was £18 each to go inside though so we gave that a miss sadly.
We went up on the city walls and down Diagon Alley, and into a beautiful garden.
That was enough for us so we headed back to the car, stopping in at ‘Love Cheese’ for a couple of local varieties.
Back home and all is well, although the temperature outside is Arctic, I don’t know what is going on but it doesn’t feel like June!
