Single petalled peony

I adore peonies. And I was able to buy a bunch of them at M&S in Tamworth Services on the way home from Birmingham where Len and I had gone today for Len to continue his medical trial.

It rained quite hard in Brum at around 2 pm. The trip home was dry.

Basil enjoyed himself walking in the rain with Helen while we were away.

I've enjoyed watching Springwatch this year. I think the addition of more cameras has enabled the team to follow more interesting sights.
