Greater quaking grass

I've noticed this strange plant in a couple of gardens on our walking circuit. 

Been a day of chores, cleaning hob and kitchen sink, taking clothes to the charity clothes bank. 

Finished reading The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak, really enjoyed it.  Now reading Estuary by Rachel Lichtenstein an account of travelling along the Thames estuary.  R L's prose is lyrical and I'm finding my imagination is allowing me to be there.  There are monochrome photographs included.

The wet stuff is back again.  Seen several articles claiming snow will occur in June.  That will sell newspapers.
