Butterflies galore!

We knew it was going to rain today so we decided to go to The Magic of Life Butterfly House, which is only 20 mins away. It is very small, but has approximately 400 butterflies flying around. They put out sugar water and encourage you to dip you finger in and encourage them to come and land on you .... which they did anyway, even if you didn't invite them! (See extra) I've never seen so many together. There was a group of school children in and they were so excited. 

We did just over an hour and then went to cool down with a drink. We then did another hour when it was a little quieter over lunch. After a picnic in the car we went to the red kite feeding station, as it had stopped raining. However, it is further up in the hills and in the cloud and started raining a lot when we arrived. We changed our minds and came back to the house to review our photos, then went back to the butterfly house for the final hour of the day and more photos. Guess what we're doing this evening! 

I actually found my phone was better than my camera for this.
