Maresias

Today we visited the retrospective exhibition by the Brazilian artist Beatrix Mihazes. Entitled Maresias after the salty sea-breeze in Rio de Janeiro where she lives and works. The exhibition features vibrant, intensely colourful, large-scale, abstract canvases. This was a quick photo taken inside the Tate St Ives gallery this afternoon and shows one of her works.
