Eggshells

Had to make an unscheduled detour to the allotment on my way to yoga, since I'd forgotten to take up the eggshells and coffee grounds to deter marauders from my newly planted gigantes. They seemed to have survived the night unaided. And the nematodes that D watered in should be starting to have an effect by now......

D arrived home for his birthday tea a bit later than anticipated (engine trouble on boat) - but we eventually ate and drank some good things.
