Memorial

Emotional evening at a memorial gathering to celebrate David Attwood who died recently after a long, dreadful illness.   His widow was my most influential and revered boss Jane and she pulled off a brilliant emotional event.  After losing people to Alzheimer’s (early onset) I think it is healing to be able to look back to their younger days with joy and celebration and that’s what everyone did.

I travelled up over lunch, picking up an on train lunch from the new Gail’s that’s opened in the Square in Petersfield.  Same slightly stodgy salads but good Kombucha and my fave chocolate tahini bites.

Afternoon in the office working on a new script we have in and then following up with a call with the writer.

Being at the memorial meant I got home fairly late and V’s friends who were staying had gone to bed.   As I”m leaving early I might not in fact see them.
