Heritage House

My heritage....
I think this is the place where my mother spent her early years before her family moved south to England. With help from the local library and the very little information I knew, I was able to locate the likely street - fortunately still there. It's a street of terraced tenement houses, each one divided into flats. Whilst I can't be certain, dates and name of voter all fit with my grandfather.

Extra of voter register with Mr T Hutton - my grandfather was Thomas Hutton and an electrical engineer. He does not appear in the list for 1935 which is when the family relocated for work.

A fine weather day looking round the area; we were able to visit friends and head out for a delicious Indian meal in the evening.
