Nature diary.. Calico Hearts

These curious but well loved little succulent plants have been an interesting part of my life for a number of years. 
Originally native to the desert regions of Mexico they can grow to be 6 inches tall and 12 inches wide, with their fleshy leaves grouping like rosettes.
They are capable of producing small tubular flowers which are usually pale pink or white on stems 6 to 8 inches long.
They require very little attention with sunshine being their preference, and they should not be over-watered.
They are lovely, gentle, unique little plants.
