The Red Arrows

Instantly recognisable, The Red Arrows...

It's been about 30 years since I last attended an airshow, and this one at Waddington was fantastic, as if I'd not been away.

I love all the planes and 'copters. Love the static displays and the camera gear!

Then, one of the highlights of the show is, as always, the Red Arrows. Back to full strength after a series of misfortunes last year, they put on a display to be proud of. Superb skill, speeds, and handling of their jets, often with closing speeds of up to 800knots...these guys have balls of steel!

Looking forward to a repeat visit to Waddington next year.
