Mural

Another concert this evening, part of the Huddersfield Jazz Guitar Festival. At a different venue this time, Small Seeds, a rather strange space with a full size tree trunk at its centre, and wooden seating about 30cm off the floor!

Once again one of the main acts had called off, and this time John Smith and his band stood in. Then two more good sets, by Randy Johnston (who played some blues tonight, as well as jazz), and Jim Mullen. An evening of fantastic music.

Not far from the venue is this mural, depicting the Development of the Woollen Industry, by Harold Blackburn (designer) and Professor Lavagno (mosaicist).
