Champs

Today’s MM theme is ’sport.’ I chose two mementos from my softball coaching days. The ball has the All County Championship results. There were two teams. One was a High School division and the other was the Pre-High School division. I coached both teams to championships. Reno brother was my assistant and was the one who saved the balls for me. We represented the Town of Hamburg, NY, where I grew up.

The trophy, small as it is, was from our Diocesan Championship (when I was teaching in a Catholic school.) I have some other sports stuff from my previous life. I’m most proud of these. Thanks to Pinkhairedlady for hosting and for the opportunity to share some of my fondest memories.

I went out for a run this morning for a couple of minutes but came home because I forgot something.
I forgot that I can’t run for more than a couple of minutes.
