Young starling

Thisyoung starling for fresh food on the arch in my garden. In later shots it had found a couple of grubs. I also had a great spotted woodpecker visit the garden but too briefly to get a photo.

I've been doing jobs in the house and this afternoon was working in the garden.  There's plenty to do at this time of year!
