Dime

Jeezo, up and about by half six again for no real reason. Far too chilly and overcast to sit outside in comfort but....by half ten it was kind of gorgeous out there and it was factor 30 and my Paul Auster book all the way.

Pic here is from the decking early afternoon. Me and my partner were having a very pleasant time of it playing backgammon when the time came to go and pick up our girls from the ferry, them coming over from Edinburgh and Glasgow to spend the last night of our short break with us - I wasn't going to mention it but, yeah, its my birthday today, that's the real reason they've made the effort to come over and see us! Zoom in and you can just make out the boat on its way over from Wemyss Bay.

Cava and cake in the garden, followed by a barbecue. A grand family time indeed.
