PEGASUS

This morning, my guided meditation urged
me to be aware of every present moment.
I committed to enjoy every moment, but
it was a tall order. I had a very early,
routine Dr appointment in LA, which meant
I needed to drive through a very gritty part of the city, along with all the commuters,
in a hurry, truck drivers in the wrong lane & kids off to school.

Every light was red, but that’s when I noticed this wing-ed horse urging me to go FURTHER. The Jacarandas & Agapanthus nearby were starting to bloom. I got to the Dr appt in plenty of time, & my exam was quick, painless. All good news.

Now I am home, on the patio with Angus,
where it is much easier to enjoy every
single moment.
