Blousey
The two peony buds have been hanging about for weeks, they seem to have decided it’s warm enough to venture forth into a beautiful flower.
I have been totting up the losses from getting rid of the ground elder. A huge oriental poppy, all the other poppies, an agapanthus. And one rose is much smaller because I had to move it all about. Anyway, hopefully the bloody stuff is gone and next year I can have my effortless, beautiful May and June garden back.
In other news, a glorious swim with Emma this morning. The sea was flatter than it has been since last summer. Loved it.
We finished clarksons farm this evening, it’s a beautiful program. And people who refuse to watch it are just missing out, fact.
