In Hamilton Wood

Such a lovely walk in the wood this morning. We saw one adult roe deer and two young ones. They each jumped across the burn from the field, but the second youngster was a bit behind the others and lost track of them so he did a fair bit of barking before he found them.
Further on we heard the raven again. Very loud and sounding like a duck with a sore throat.
I spent the afternoon potting petunias, begonias and Osteospermum, and planting leeks.
