"The Squadron"...

...Of beautiful Pelicans - this was captured from our back garden, just a little while ago this morning - at least 60 of them all going around and around finding thermals and with the river in their view...

...Sometimes one or two would venture over to see what I was doing - and disappear back into the Squadron itself..

...Once the Murray river is back to normal here with the Weir in place again - we may not see as many of them flying in unison like this...but at the moment it is a photographer's paradise, with so many different varieties of wildlife around and above us, right here, where the Weir is...
