Back on the Beemer!

We spent the morning pulling out gum suckers with the tractor so over lunch I was thinking about a more interesting activity for the afternoon. I’ve had a few health issues in the last year so while we’ve still been going out on the little Suzukis, the old BMW has sat neglected and forlorn in the corner of the shed so I thought “Today’s the day!”
I worked methodically through the check list- remove the cover, check the oil, fresh petrol, pump up the tyres and scrape the hornets nests out of the fins on the motor (see blip).
Started first go and off we went around the valley. It’s 48yo, what a superb piece of engineering!!
