This Western Tiger Swallowtail is a completely common butterfly here, but I feel vindicated after a chase of a few days. When we were at our son's house over the 4th, we saw many Red Admirables, Tiger Swallowtails, Common Wood Nymphs, and other smaller unidentifiable butterflies. I am completely captured with these flying wildflowers.
