Texas BBQ is (sorta) world renowned. I'm a Texan and I love it.

A fellow cyclist friend has been eating a lot of BBQ recently. And as such, these delicious plates of meat keep appearing in my Facebook feed. Let me tell you, it's a refreshing break from memes, baby pictures, and political posts. Inspired by this, I'm going to be riding to various BBQ joints, close and far. I don't know if this a series, but it's going to taste damn good either way.

Lee's Smokey BBQ has been a staple in Haslet for over 25 years. Unfortunately, I have no idea if they are still open because they were closed today. If I find out their hours, I'll make another trip up there and report back then.
