Burrito boy

Sarah's family didn't come today, nor Josh nor cousin Diane, so it was a small group gathering and having dinner today.  Max wanted to go outside, but it had been raining all day and was very windy, so he couldn't.  So the twins moved through a number of different activities, including looking through a photo album from Manda and Sarah's childhood (Extra.)  Sam wanted to be wrapped up like a burrito, so Andrew complied and later did the same to Max.  Although the twins each said no when asked if they'd like to me to read to them, Andrew convinced them that I was in a reading competition and really needed to practice.  The twins were happy to help and I read several books with them.  A lovely dinner and pineapple (the twins' favorite) for dessert, some after-dinner play, and it was time to go home.  Lex's stair chair had stopped working, so I had a choice between going down the stone stairs in the front of the house and making my way down the back stairs around the chair.  I opted for the latter, guided by Doug.

I won't see any of the family next Sunday as they are all going away for the weekend to Whidby Island.
