PHIL & AMANDA

Phil & Amanda are the most friendly, helpful & obliging people you could ever wish to meet in a wood.
As I stood on the narrow path, aiming my lens in the general direction of a murky pond, a couple of cyclists approached and then (or so I thought) rode on.
Quite a complicated series of events then occurred, but the upshot was, that the person I later learnt was called Phil, sped off on his bike to retrieve the unsuspecting Amanda, (who had indeed cycled on), in order for her to show us some photographs she'd taken of a petrified forest.
Phil suggested that it might be an interesting place to visit from a photographic perspective.
Amanda kindly returned and found the pictures for us on her camera.
It did indeed look like a fascinating place and is now on our 'to do' list.
The other item on the list for today of course, was to ask Phil & Amanda to pose for POTD.
Which, being such a charming couple, they agreed to do.
