Scrub jay

Just as the rain started this morning the scrub jay was the first bird to arrived after I had refilled the feeders.  We had mid day dinner of pizza and birthday cake with my parents at noon today.  Mom's birthday is this coming Tuesday, but she is having a tooth extracted that day and will not be eating any fun food for awhile, so the celebration was today.
