Cerinthe major purpurescence

Seems to grow wherever it fancies - here in the bed on the south facing wall and even in the gravel around the greenhouse where there is no soil. Anyway the bees seem to absolutely love it.
Friend and birthday boy Mike came to collect a few things including some grass clippings for his compost bins.
A catch up with coffee in the sunshine sat on the terrace.
Mainly weeding around the garden.
