Bowling legend

Hubby and I bowled today in the senior inter county qualifiers at Chesterfield. The men’s team finished in top place but the ladies had to pull it out of the bag in the last game to qualify. Off to Dunstable in October for the finals.
The lady in the foreground is Gina Wardle. She is a legend of the UK bowling scene having bowled the first perfect 300 game by a female back in 1985. She is a lovely lady still enjoying her bowling nearly 40 years later. The guy in the blue shirt in the distance is hubby!!
