Garden birds

It was a grey and damp day and not very conducive to photography, although I did try to capture a shot of mum and dad bluetits exiting the nest box every minute in the rain. I think I will wait for a sunny day to try again. I also tried some artistic rose photographs but the poor blooms just looked as if they were drowning. They too will look better in the sunshine. Then unexpectedly this robin landed nearby and started hopping around the wall, looking for a snack or two. It very obligingly kept still enough for me to snap him/her.
