Bee

Another lovely sunny day (at last!) spent mainly in the garden. Firstly the car needed vacuuming after yesterday's trip to the tip with lots of messy junk (I'm not usually very "precious" about my 10-year-old car but it really was in a mess!). Then the lawn needed mowing (with all the rain we've had it's looking greener than usual). In the afternoon I tackled a tiny amout of the much-needed weeding.

The good weather had brough a lot of bees into the garden, and so in between times I allowed myself some far too much time trying to catch one in flight which then meant deleting hundreds of duds - including many of bees bums (why are they so camera shy?!). This is the best I got - I'm not sure if this bee is coming or going but at least it's flapping its wings as it checks out a flower on the raspberry canes.
