Almost a drive-by...

...but your Gal was driving and so pulled over instead!

En route home from a busy dayshift I pulled into what remains of Bank Street in Hyde to snap a quick pic of the old octagonal chimney behind 'Hyde Industrial Supplies' whose building along with the chimney can be seen on old mapping before new roads carved up the old terraced streets.

Am struggling to find much history on the chimney but it surely must be listed, surviving so long, although it's a shame it's become a bit of an antenna farm.
