Musical Statues

My lovely friends went home today.  What a great few days it's been chatting, chatting and more chatting.  They are friends I shared a house with at University and as we all live in different parts of the country, don't manage to get together as much as we'd like.

We've seen a few red kites overhead and we now know that the the mother duck keeps an eye out for predators in the sky and alerts the ducklings.  Here you can see her looking up into the sky having given the order to get into the pond and remain stock still.  And they do... as if their lives depended on it...
