Happy birthday . . .

. . . Maggie's Lanarkshire. As a volunteer I was so happy to be asked to help out at this event. This evening was all about celebrating 10 years of the Maggie's centre at Monklands Hospital and thanking people who have supported their work. Fundraising was not the aim of the evening but when Tunnocks pledged a donation of £50,000 it was very soon matched by a number of supporters in the room. People are so very kind and generous.
