Woking parkrun

We were awake early so we did go ahead with our plan to do the local parkrun. It was a 3 lap course with a very muddy woodland section.  I came second in my age category but not a record breaking time due to the deep mud. We went for a coffee in the local leisure centre after the run and then jogged back to the hotel.  After a shower and some instant porridge we went for a long walk along the canal and Horsfall common with a couple of stops for coffee and buns along the way.  
We walked back into town for the theatre later in the evening.  The play was good, though perhaps not quite as good as we'd hoped.  It was light enough to walk back to the hotel, . We saw some bats on the way.  40,000 step day!
