The beautiful flowers that Maddie and Alfie gave me for my birthday, I just love those light summery colours.
What a beautiful day it's been, warm sunshine and blue skies, I could get used to this.
I've been gardening this afternoon and managed to cut over half of the river bank, whilst doing so I noticed that some of the bank has eroded away due to the constant flooding over the last nine months.    I also cut back a lot of suckers that the Lilacs are sending up.  I need to cut them back more drastically really as they seem to be taking over to the detriment of other things.
