the red carpet

we stayed in Thuir today where there was quite a lot going on. 
The market was busy despite being very windy. After stocking up on fruit and veggies we had a leisurely lunch at the creperie . We then spotted a large wedding party that seemed to have a 'red' theme including a 1966 red mustang car. As we walked back  the main street was having a long red carpet laid out and big containers of flowers brought in. I thought it must have been an important wedding to close off a main road but it was for a fashion show later that afternoon. Off course we had to return to have a look. Several local shops were displaying their clothes with models of various shapes and ages who seemed to be having fun despite not always knowing where they were supposed to be going next!  I think  the bride though missed a trick as she would have looked great going down the red carpet.
