Standing Still

An interesting encounter early this morning. I  saw a Lady Deer passing the road and I stopped to see whether there are others. Then Mr Deer crossed the road but just as he was stepping to the forest, he realised that I was there, too. He stood still for maybe a minute but then a bicyclist from the other direction induced him to step into the forest.
