Went over to Salterbeck to get loco pictures, lots of folk about, so we stayed the quiet side of the line.
Extra In the evening we went over for an hour to the now closed Duke of Cumberland, Bridgefoot, to celebrate the life of the landlord Ian, who died earlier this year. His wife Carol put on a "picnic in the pub" to raise money for Maryport rescue team and Cockermouth Mountain rescue. A lovely summer's evening to remember Ian.
