Newcastle Downunder

Blue cheeked honeyeater

This is a first for my yard so it had to be blipped even though this was taken through the window.  I have not seen one of these here before although I have seen them down at the lake in abundance and up at Port Stephens.  Perhaps it was on holiday.  It was enjoying my grevellia whatever it was doing.

The weather cleared a bit today and there were patches of sunshine, it was lunch at T and R's and then cards and then by the time I was driving home this evening it was sprinkling again.  I believe it will clear properly tomorrow.  It will be washing day if it does!
