I arrived at the park early as there were a number of things happening that would potentially be a problem for our pakrun today.

The fairground had left a space for us to pass through but there were a couple of cables that we'd need to cross and a parked truck that narrowed the gap. 

Set up for the mudrace had begun and scaffolding was being erected.

A kiosk holder was jetwashing the path.

Bob and Dave agreed a small change to the start location to compensate for the change on the field. The mudrace organiser made sure his team would not be working when our participants passed through.

Gordon and Yvonne changed their touring plans and Yvonne brought me the cape she had made to celebrate her 250th parkrun.

Elaine took a tumble in the woods.  A faster runner was convinced he'd startled her and apologised a lot even though she said he hadn't.  I walked and chatted with her to the end.  Deb and Harry stayed to cheer us in which was lovely 

Afterwards it was Morrissons.  Bob and Chris came too which was great.  Elaine gave me a card that had a collection of our touring adventures on it and some gifts.
