Bachelorette

Charleston is well known for its active bachelorette parties.  Here is a future bride and two bridesmaids frolicking in the park at the foot of the river.  Extras are two pictures of participants in the PRIDE Parade.

Today, as part of the Spoleto USA Festival, we attended a chamber music concert that our group found unfulfilling.  The problem was that it consisted of all contemporary works, ending with a very long piece by John Adams.  Lunch at "Fast and French" a walk, some shopping and then a one person play - an American's story of his Scottish ancestry, with as a child, frequent visits to Scotland.

Today in the southeast of the U.S., hurricane season has begun.  The weather today was perfect.
