23rd Le Touquet

Still playing catch up!

Tuesday was wet and the rest of the week has been cloudy and pretty chilly with the sun making an appearance every afternoon around 4pm and today was no different.

We visited Etaple military cemetery.  The children were given the task of trying to find the grave of the only Chinese soldier in the cemetery.  They respectfully and quietly took their time to try and discover it but eventually needed hints from our guides.

From there we went into Le Touquet where they could spend their money if they so wished.  Back on the coach to a nearby beach to have lunch and a play….. it was chilly but the kids had fun.

As I said the sun came out later in the day and the children could take part in a last night talent show if they wanted to.  It was such a lovely evening that we performed outside on the veranda.
