Furlongs?

We had a lovely day in, with Steph and the kids visiting. The grown-ups and Adventure Girl sat out and chatted in the garden, and made silly WhatsApp stickers. Gorgeous Boy and Matthew set up laptops together in the living room and played Minecraft together.

After they left Mike and I went for a wander down to the shops. We saw the pope wearing a diving helmet in the curiosity shop, some cool narrow stepped passages up to the church, and this sign which I've only just noticed is in miles and furlongs!
