Seventeen

This was one of my birthday present books gifted by a friend who always chooses well. It's been a fairly quick read and I quite enjoyed it but I don't think it'll be in my top 5 for the year. Up fairly early and I walked into town once Bailey had been walked to pick up my new glasses. As predicted, no requirement for my new sunnies today, maybe tomorrow. I had a bit of a browse whilst I was in town, including in a new (well, not one that I've been in before) independent bookshop. It seems to be trying to do a lot of things but had some interesting stock. Back up Lindum Hill powered by Fern Brady's Strong Female Character audiobook. Bailey was pleased to see me when I got in and then took himself off for a lie down. He stirred his bones for a longer walk before his tea putting my total steps for today to close on 18 000.
