Roses Grow On You

We've had a lovely afternoon in a nice country pub, celebrating my sister in laws birthday. Thinking I might not get a blip, I took these this morning while I was sorting my garage out. I'm just about old enough to remember the roses advert from the late 60s featuring long forgotten comedian Norman Vaughan. Seeing the old tin I use to keep screws, nails, etc in, I thought it would be good to take a photo of it next to the newer plastic one. The old tin is from 2008 and is 1.3kg. The new one is just 600g. Make of that what you will! I wonder how much the old tin would have cost in 2008? The extra is a side view of the roses.
