Today's the day ...................... to do as you please

In my little world, it's been pretty much the perfect day.  And I'm not just referring to the weather, although that's been perfect too - sunshine all day but not too hot.  There was nothing planned or anything that had to be done.  The day was ours, to do with as we wanted.  

So mine was spent without leaving the confines of house or garden, pottering about doing a bit of this and a bit of that.  There was a fair bit of standing and staring and enjoying the wonders of the natural world.  Breakfast and lunch were eaten outside in a leisurely manner.  Will went off into town on one of his missions - but ended up painting the house (in a watercolour way - see extra)

And now, I'm about to eat a home-cooked pizza - hopefully with a glass of red.  Just the perfect day .....................!
