Timing

I am about halfway into this wee Medical Aid for Palestinians challenge and this morning I decided it is time to give the fundraising side of it a bit of a push.

By one of those strange twists of fate Labour's election candidate for my constituency appeared on my doorstep at lunchtime. As I discovered today, she is Melanie Ward, currently Medical Aid for Palestinians' CEO (but on leave for the election campaign).

We had a very pleasant chat touching on Zionism, Islamophobia and the disaster in Palestine. 

If anyone wants to contribute, please do. 200 people chipping in £1 each would be ideal.

Yes, I was back on the Parkrun trail this morning - over at Lochore Meadows. It is hard to beat when the sun is shining. I Blipped the loch close to where the course starts. 

If I can find a clip of Melanie speaking (as CEO and not as a politico) I will add it.
