Down from up high

The severe winds in the storm which hit  Auckland/Tamaki Makaurau (and Snells Beach) on Wednesday afternoon and evening left a significant amount of debris on the driveway at the A-frame. One piece that the builders had moved in order to have access appeared to be partly rotten.

Further evidence that the tree it came from may well be dying is shown in my blip. The branch which fell has a bracket fungus firmly attached.
