Back in the woods

Home safely, although don't talk to me about the overturned caravan on the M6 :-/  Ben has been quick to react but we've avoided serious drama.  Just running a bit late with everything due to the traffic delays.  We had a quick walk in the woods about 4:30pm, the light was lovely and it was warm.  However, Ben is a bit obsessed with the idea of bird spotting..  he has a little RSPB book and he was hoping to identify some on the walk but his reactions aren't fast enough to follow the sounds he can hear.  We managed to see a blackbird merrily singing in a tree, so that appeased him but I'm a bit twitchy it's going to turn into something (the obsession, not the blackbird!). Oh well, for now it's Saturday night :-)
