Ladies who lunch

This morning I went by train into the city, and met up with Cali and Alex.  We had lunch at the Rennie McIntosh Willow Tearooms, a Glasgow icon.  It was very busy and we were glad we had booked!  Lunch was super, extra......

It has been a hot day and Glasgow was buzzing, I felt a bit like a country hick as I haven't seen so many people for a long time.  

It was great to chat with the girls, and good to find Alex a lot happier than before, legal matters being sorted and her mum settling well into the care home.  We had a great chat and I regaled the girls with some tales of when I and Alex's mum were wee and we all holidays together.  We had a laugh.

Bob was fine while I was away and did some light gardening after he had his infusion, and even delivered some plants to a friend.  

Flaming June, let's hope it stays that way......
